Many large and small alike see Facebook as an effective Business Manager tool and groan somewhat at the inner workings. In truth, there’s much to be done with this social networking giant, and much of it just looks pretty advanced at first glance. And because your business can do most basic advertising tasks without diving very deep into the Business Manager realm, it makes perfect sense that so many avoid it all. But it’s time to become a Facebook fan and join the club. It’s time to let the world know what your company does, who you are, and what you’re all about.
It’s a bit of a stretch to infer that Facebook is a marketing tool when it’s actually a social networking website, but that’s because this medium allows you to connect with people through ads and build a community around your product or service. So in essence, you are marketing your business using business manager tools. And with a few clicks, you can get your business name and face out there in front of millions upon millions of people. You could also use your ad account for all sorts of other types of ad campaigns, such as coupons, sales, contests, etc.
Once you have your business assets (your webpage and ad gallery) loaded into your Facebook application, you will need to begin creating a custom page for your business. Under the Admin menu, go to create page and select Facebook Business. If you’ve already set up a business account, Facebook Business will prompt you to log into that account to complete the creation. Otherwise, you’ll have to click “Create” and then “”.
Once you have logged in, you’ll need to select an icon. This is typically the globe or a flag with two horizontal lines. This is the main icon so that your page looks standard and organized. You can change the shade of this icon by clicking on the bottom right corner of the page and then selecting “olor” or “theme”. Once you have done so, you’ll be able to customize the look of your page by changing the style options and more. Once you’re satisfied with your new Facebook Business Manager page, you’ll be able to get started.
When you have the Facebook Business icon in place, you’ll notice a link to a box that says “Advertising Settings”. If you have already downloaded the Facebook Ad Manager software, you’ll need to click “Advertising Settings” and then follow the instructions. If you’re completely new to facebook ad campaigns, you’ll probably want to start off by using the default settings which are on the left hand side of the Ad Manager page.
On the top of this page, you’ll find the various ad accounts that you have access to. Click the button “Share Access”. By doing so, you’ll be able to access all of your ad accounts from this single location.
From here, you can access the custom audiences that you have access to. When you go down to the “select custom audiences” tab, you’ll be able to specify which countries you’d like your advertisements to show up in, how often these ads should appear, and the keywords that you would like them to use (such as “appliance repairs” for laptop computer repairs). When you have these choices made, you can hit “Save” and you’re done! You will not have to do anything else when you’re using these custom audiences, save for the fact that you may want to select a good domain name for your website traffic (more on that in a future article). With this information, you can get started building your business quickly and effectively!
The social networking giant Facebook has recently launched an exciting new tool called the Marketplace where web marketers can create and manage custom pages that their potential customers will be able to access on a daily basis. This Marketplace is just one of the many ways that Facebook seeks to increase its billion-dollar marketplace. This marketplace is very similar to the ad networks that are available throughout the rest of their site – advertisers only have to pay when they actually make a sale. With this powerful new feature, more people are taking advantage of Facebook’s ability to advertise to millions of potential customers on a daily basis!
